The best Italian restaurant in Guadalajara, Mexico

My husband and I traveled this summer to Guadalajara, Mexico to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were blessed that our good friend and spiritual mentor, Father Alberto Castro lives in Guadalajara. He meticulously planned our whole week to the last detail. We flew together with some friends, both couples were experiencing the city for the first time.

Upon arrival, we were all starving and we decided to unpack, freshen up and walk to our first dinner in the city.

L’Osteria IL Duomo opened in 2015 with a bang and never looked back. The ambiance was great, tranquil, and beautiful. They offer a good wine list and delicious appetizers like Tuna Tartar, Calamari, and smoked octopus. The menu had a good selection of pasta, meat, seafood, and pizza; many of the dishes can be shared. . Below are a few of the dishes that we tried. If you are craving Italian food in Guadalajara, I would definitely recommend coming here!
